Georgetown International Health Regulations (IHR) Costing Tool

Estimate needed funding: The IHR Costing Tool from the Center for Global Health Science and Security at Georgetown University can be used to estimate how much it would cost for an individual country to improve its score on many of the indicators used in the GHS Index. The Center designed the IHR Costing Tool so users can generate and review cost estimates for individual countries to improve their core capacities, as defined by the International Health Regulations (IHR), to prevent, detect, and respond to public health threats. Country-specific costs are estimated by applying user input data to cost calculations that were developed using the World Health Organization’s Joint External Evaluations (JEEs).
